In my 20+ years of experience I have worked on projects ranging from simple architectural visualization of residential homes, corporate buildings (Dicks’ Sporting Goods, Wal-Mart, etc.), medical and banking facilities (immense hospital facilities, large banks and credit unions) to simple independent game projects up to AAA monsters (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare).
I mostly use 3d Studio Max for my work and can use Blender and Maya if needed (although far less efficiently). Most of my work is hard surface assets that range from basic props, vehicles, single buildings to vast structures. The style can be anything from stylized to fully photorealistic using photogrammetry methods.
I am able to do some simple level Python scripting. Two currents works are a simple GLTF importer to get around the expensive plugins available to a Max slate editor for Blender that let’s me modify several materials at once instead of just one materials at a time.
