I’ve been into music since I can remember, for sure long before formally studying it. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Piano at the Conservatorio Niccolò Paganini, I moved to Amsterdam to complete a second Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Piano. Back in Italy, I later completed two Master’s degrees: one in Jazz Composition & Arranging and one in Jazz Piano. Despite my jazz background, my musical identity has always been deeply shaped by classical music, pop, and film scores. This has led me to develop an eclectic approach to composition, seeing music as something flexible and narrative-driven rather than tied to a single genre. Over the years, I have composed and produced original music for animated short films, documentaries, and advertising projects. Among them is Bhaktapur by Nicola Bozzo, an award-winning documentary recognized in numerous international festivals. My passion for cinema and television strongly influences the way I write music. I’m particularly interested in the emotional relationship between sound and image, working with atmosphere, silence, pacing, and emotional subtext to support the visual narrative in a natural and meaningful way. While most media composition today happens in front of a computer, I believe my background as a performing musician gives me an additional layer of sensitivity in both writing and production.
