María Paula Mariño is a producer, engineer and songwriter from Bogota, Colombia. She has worked with local New Orleans producer and 2X Grammy-winner Eric Heigle and the acclaimed indie-rock band Arcade Fire. Maria Paula has also had ample experience with international artists raging from Europe to Latin America, taking part in recording projects for Latin Grammy-nominated artists such as Vanesa Martin, Agris, and international Belgian touring artist Tamino. She has also worked composing, producing and recording with rising Colombian artist SHELLA for her most recent four-song EP release, one of which has already been nominated for Best Acoustic Song in Central America’s rising artist Premios Estela. Maria Paula has also written original music for two of Loyola’s senior short films, and has taken an increased interest in film scoring. Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree in Media Scoring and Production with a full-ride scholarship at the University of Miami and working as a freelance composer, songwriter, producer and engineer in the Miami scene.
