Hi there, my name is Mark Lipschutz. My editorial, writing and producing work can be found at madchopscreative.com I launched Mad Chops to be able to seek out a wide variety of like minded and talented folks with whom to collaborate. Mad Chops has the capabilities to concept and forge into existence unique and effective work while rooting the process in a foundation of fun and joy. Prior to Mad Chops, I was staff for 2 plus amazing years in the Brand Creative Group at HBO as a Senior Writer Producer, promoting HBO, HBOMAX and DC properties. Responsibilities included concepting, producing, editing or working with vendors to create campaign trailers and extra content for the Steven Soderbergh film No Sudden Move and series Full Circle, David E Kelley's Love and Death as well as promoting the Michael B Jordan Executive Produced animated genLOCK and competition shows Craftopia, Baketopia and unscripted The Bridge. I joined Comedy Central as Senior Producer/Editor Brand Creative in April, 2000, responsible for the editing, finishing and delivery of branding and marketing campaigns across every platform for the channel. It was my great pleasure to launch and relaunch some of Comedy Central’s biggest franchises, including The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, The Colbert Report, The Comedy Central Roasts of Justin Bieber and David Hasselhoff, countless seasons of South Park, Chappelle’s Show, Workaholics, Drunk History, and Reno 911. Throughout my staff tenures, I actively maintained my creative chops by cutting short films, music videos, sound designing, and creating web content. Previously, I worked freelance in New York at various post production shops and in- house facilities for advertising agencies working on national advertising campaigns and pitches. My career started in Atlanta, working on regional spots, corporate video for Mercedes Benz North America and content for the Atlanta Olympic Games. I have worked on multiple award winning campaigns including winning Gold for Editing at the 2018 Promax Awards and was a runner up in the NYC Midnight Movie Making Madness. I also play drums in several non-notable bar bands.
