Marcos is a multi-talented musician and composer with a Latin Grammy Award Certificate and 5 Telly Awards to his name. With expertise in playing clarinet, saxophone, keyboards, bass, guitar, mandolin, and Venezuelan cuatro, Marcos has had a distinguished career as a music educator, film composer, music producer, and performer. A graduate of Universidad Cecilio Acosta and the University of Miami, Marcos has honed his skills through extensive education and experience. He has worked as a clarinetist for the Orquesta Sinfonica de Maracaibo in Venezuela and as a music director and saxophonist-keyboard player for the band Guaco. With a passion for creating original and thematic music, Marcos excels in pre-production coordination, sound engineering, and transmission/recording arrangements. He is well-versed in utilizing computer software for sound editing and has extensive experience in synchronized singing and instrumental playing. Currently, Marcos works as a composer and sound designer at TelevisaUnivision Networks, Inc. in Miami, and is a Composer in Residence for The Miami Symphony Orchestra.
