Matthew Richter is a classically trained music producer/multi-instrumentalist. A deep love for many styles of music has led Matthew’s professional and creative pursuits into electronic music, jazz, lo-fi, classical, metal, blues, and experimental music. Beginning his musical journey at age 9, Matt has been fortunate to have been involved in a myriad of relevant endeavors, from forming bands at age 10 to formal classical and jazz training, eventually leading to his receiving a Masters Degree from the University of Denver in classical guitar performance. While finishing his Masters Recital and thesis, Mass Relay won the Untz Challenge, granting him performances at nine major music festivals including Electric Forest, Summer Camp, Sonic Bloom, Dancefestopia, as well as many national performances. In 2016, he began scoring music for film and television, working with sync license libraries such as Velvet Green Music and Fine Tune Music.
