Hi, I’m Mawulede Buermaku Puplampu, but most people call me Maku. I’m a passionate communicator, creative, and performer with a voice that tells stories—on paper, on stage, and behind the mic. As a copywriter, I’ve trained myself to write with clarity, emotion, and impact. Whether it’s crafting promotional content or compelling brand messages, I focus on connecting deeply with people through words that feel honest and powerful. My background in psychology helps me write with empathy and intention, always keeping the reader’s heart and mind in focus. I’m also a vocalist and spoken word artist, so music and rhythm are second nature to me. My voice has been shaped by years of performance—whether I’m singing in worship spaces, leading poetic pieces, or recording harmonies, I bring a strong sense of feeling and authenticity to my sound. As a voice-over artist, I bring all these worlds together. My voice is expressive, warm, and versatile—perfect for narration, commercials, storytelling, or character work. I don’t just read scripts—I embody them. I believe every project deserves a voice that feels alive, real, and meaningful. At the core of everything I do is one mission: to use my voice—written or spoken—to inspire, uplift, and make a difference.

    Legon Love Letters

They told me the University of Ghana was for lectures,
for sleepless nights in Balme Library,
for night strolls to Pentagon and midnight waakye at Night Market.
But no one told me love could find me here,
between the echoes of JQB and the quiet shade of NNB.

I met you between a UGRC class and a rainy evening at Central Cafeteria,
somewhere between the src union building
    and “Can I sit here?”
Maybe love is a semester course,
one the Father ordained before we even chose our majors,
    graded in patience, in kindness,
in the way we show up when the world says, “Drop this course.”

I see you across the UGCS lawn,
sunset painting you in hues of hallelujah,
your laughter—a chorus from the book of Psalms,
your presence—like chapel bells on a Sunday morning.
And I wonder if this is what Paul meant
when he wrote of love that bears all things,
    believes all things,
endures even when deadlines suffocate us.

We walk through campus like disciples on a journey,
discovering each other like a new book at the Kingdom Bookshop,
studying love like it’s an elective we never knew we needed.
You wait for me at Night Market,
I remind you to pray before exams,
we hold hands—not just in secret,
but in faith, because this love is a testimony.

This is not just about stolen glances in lecture halls,
not just about WhatsApp calls that stretch past hall curfews.
    This love is a ministry—
a reflection of Christ and His bride,
a love letter written in late-night prayers and shared communion at Nups -G Sunday service.

So when the world says love is just a fleeting campus fling,
that it won’t survive beyond this university’s roads,
    we will stand firm—
built on a foundation stronger than the Great Hall pillars,
deeper than the roots of the baobab tree near Volta Hall.
    Because what God authors,
no failed test, no distance, no doubt
    can erase.

And if love is a lesson,
    then class is in session.
