As part of the Adopter’s Advocacy project, I composed fictional letters using anonymized quotations from adopters, which were designed to be used as advocacy materials. The project aimed to provide adopters with the means to communicate things that are hard to say and hard to hear, helping to promote empathy and compassion toward adoptive parents among professionals in the adoption system.
