Mel is an award-winning composer and has written music for short & feature films, TV, dance choreography, trailers and commercials spanning a wide range of genres, including work for Lionsgate, Oscilloscope, Warner Brothers, A24, Nike, ON Running, The Speed Project, independent directors and more. She has also done custom work for The Crystal Creative (PDX), SixtyFour Music (NYC, UK), Barking Owl Sound (LA, NYC) and Supervision Agency (London, NYC, Paris, LA).  Guérison grew up playing classical violin, guitar, piano & singing and was invited on her first international tour with an orchestra at the age of fourteen. She toured throughout college while earning her degree in music performance, concentrating in music theory, arranging, voice, classical guitar, piano and drums.
