uniE621 Selwyn District Council Long-Term Plan
The Selwyn District Council Long-Term Plan (LTP) 2024–2034 is the Council’s official blueprint for what it plans to deliver over the next 10 years. It sets out the projects, services, and activities the Council is committing to, how these will be funded, and what the impacts might be for the community and ratepayers. It’s developed in close consultation with residents and shaped around their priorities for things like infrastructure, transport, community facilities, environmental management, and growth planning. I was the lead designer on this project, responsible for shaping the visual identity, layout, and overall design direction of the LTP document. That meant ensuring the information was not only clear and accessible for residents and stakeholders but also aligned with Selwyn’s brand, looked professional, and supported easy navigation through complex content. My role included typography choices, graphic systems, infographics, and making sure the design elevated the core messages and made the plan feel engaging and approachable to read.
