Hi, I’m Miguel Colimão Ferreira. I have a degree in Sound Science and Technology at Lusófona University in Lisbon, Portugal. I began my journey in sound in 2020, exploring the music production world, but soon realized that my true passion is making sound for video. Since then I’ve been dedicated to audio work for film, animation, and series, and I love collaborating on projects that bring stories to life through sound. I have hands-on experience as a Sound Monitor at a cinema warehouse, where I handled organization, inventory control, maintenance and repair of audiovisual equipment, and provided technical support to students and teachers in equipment handling and configuration. I also completed an internship in a Sound Post-Production Studio, contributing to audio editing, mixing, and voice recording sessions, all while building my skills with Pro Tools, Avid workflows, and MacOS.
