I have extensive experience as a Lighting Cameraman, working in both the broadcast and corporate sectors. I have worked across a variety of genres including Factual Documentary, Observational Docs, Promo’s Current Affairs, Arts & Entertainment and Natural History. I am familiar with all current recording formats I own a Panasonic EVA1 4K camera and regularly shoot with the ARRI Amira, Mini and Sony FX9 cameras, as well as the specialist Photron hi-speed camera. Even though a lot of my work is as part of a PSC crew, I am equally as comfortable working on large OB’s – both rigging and recording, as well as on multi-camera studio shoots. I am a confident self-shooter and have produced videos for clients in the UK and abroad, often being asked to take publicity stills as well. I have good knowledge of Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere and can edit to a high standard. I am also comfortable exporting and uploading files of different formats to various ftp sites. I have also rigged and operated remote cameras in various locations and am also familiar with a range of mini-cams and specialist cameras for high speed, time-lapse & macro filming. I hold a HSE Pro Scuba (Part IV) license with a valid medical, a PADI Divemaster qualification and have completed a BBC approved Hostile Environment training course. I am a fully insured drone pilot with Operational Authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority here in the UK (OA from the CAA) as well as an A2 CofC to fly in Europe and also a license to operate commercially in America (Part 107 from the FAA).
