The Stars Above is a constellation-based puzzle game where players connect stars to form zodiac-inspired constellations. Each completed level unlocks a fun, engaging fact about the corresponding sign, blending interactive gameplay with light learning. The project is designed to appeal to teens and middle schoolers, encouraging curiosity about constellations, astrology, and the stories behind them.
Players are guided by the game’s main character, Ophiuchus the Serpent Bearer, who swings from rope to rope to travel between stars. By navigating across the sky and selecting the correct points, the serpent bearer helps form each constellation.

Hachiko is a 2D point and click PC game intended for casual players who like chill and relaxing games. The game took inspiration from the story of the dog Hachiko, an Akita dog’s unwavering loyalty to its owner, waiting for his owner’s return at Shibuya Station for 9 years after his owner had passed away.
Players play as Hachiko, searching for his owner in the courtyard of the train station where they left one another.
This is an in-class project where we were tasked to create a paper prototype of an existing game, break it down to its core components, and adjust the difficulty of our prototype to make it 30% harder.
We chose the game “Papers, Please” for this project, and we turned the game into a card game where we designed all of the cards, including special events, rules, and interactions.
