My college experience as a fine art photography major at Humboldt State University from 1994 to 1997 was a focused and formative period of academic and artistic development. I engaged extensively with the photography program, utilizing the darkroom for black-and-white processing and exploring early digital imaging tools available at the time, alongside hands-on work in the lighting studio and with view cameras. The small class sizes allowed for direct, constructive feedback from faculty, which refined my technical skills and artistic perspective.
