Discovering his passions as a young teenager, he conducted experiments throughout his youth before starting a small video production company, New Eye Productions, while a sophomore in high school. He taught himself basic video production skills and was able to build a network of clients around his hometown. While doing so, he entered local video contest hosted by Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin and was awarded first place. Upon graduating high school, he enrolled at Columbia College Chicago where he broadened his skills and knowledge in several different areas of filmmaking. Although his focus was editing and post-production, He took several courses in directing and screenwriting. He also worked as a production assistant and grip on film sets through the campus. During his final year, He began an internship at Roc Star Studio, where he gained real world experience through carrying out tasks in a studio setting and the cutting of different forms of media including web series, music videos, and PSAs. He received his Bachelor of Arts in May of 2023 and as of today, freelances as videographer and editor through his side business, and has most recently acquired a part-time role as video editor and photographer of nightly rundowns with WHO 13 News while occasionally working event nights at the Des Moines Casey's Center as audio-visual operator.
