    uniE621 Gateway Engraving website
This was a website I designed and developed for a small client called Gateway Engraving while working at The Miller Group. They previously had a website that, at the time, was now longer up and running. We hosted the site on our company's servers and I was the one in charge of building and designing the website. webdesigner designer
    uniE621 Johnson Group website
This was a website for Johnson Group, a real estate firm located in St. Louis, that was designed and developed during my time at The Miller Group. They came wanting a new and improved website as their previous website was outdated. Due to the client's needs, I had to implement some custom functionality to the site's themes and plug-ins to achieve the desired effect. webdesigner designer
uniE621 City of Clarkson Valley website
This website was created for the City of Clarkson Valley while I was working for The Miller Group. They wanted us to create a new and improved website based on the content from their previous website. While I worked on migrating the content and putting together the layout of the website, other designers at the Miller Group worked on some of the more aesthetic details of the site, so it was a very collaborative effort. webdesigner designer
    uniE621 Note Taker
This application allows the user to make new notes and delete old ones. Using Express.js as a back-end, the application stores all the note data in a JSON file and retrieves said information when needed. When the application is first open, the user will be presented with a screen that includes a link to the notes page. Once clicked, the user is taken to a screen where they can write a new note, save the note for later use, or clear the form before the note is saved. If they have any saved notes, they can click on said note, and the back-end will retrieve the note from the JSON file. Otherwise, they can delete the note, which will erase the data from the JSON file. Click here](https://www.twine.net/signin to view the live application. webdesigner designer
    uniE621 Movie Search Engine
Created by Asaad Ahmad and Matthew Lowery, this basic search engine is designed to search through the American Film Institute's Top 100 Movies of All Time. We used the Tailwind CSS framework for the application's look and the OMDB and Movie DB APIs to pull information for each of the films. Asaad assembled an array containing all 100 movies and created the functionalities to pull information gathered from the APIs to be referenced in the search results. Matthew built off the functionalities to pull the poster information from the OMDB and the film's information - actors, writers, directors, and synopsis - from The Movie DB. Asaad also created autocomplete and recent search functions using localStorage, while Matthew created a dropdown populated with the recent search function. Matthew created an advanced search function that displays a modal and allows the user to search for a movie by actor, writer, and director. We created separate functions for this modal so that the APIs worked with the array to display a certain movie based on the person searched and if that person was known for being in a movie from the array. For instance, if the user searches "Tom Hanks" and selects "actor," the modal will display a listing for Forrest Gump. uniE621 REACT Portfolio
Between December 2023 and June 2024, I enrolled in a full-stack development boot camp through Washington University. The course taught me how to code using languages like Express.JS, Node.JS, Progressive Web Application (PWA), Mongo DB, and GraphQL. We had to create an online portfolio using REACT as part of the course. I've compiled some of my best projects during the boot camp. Each project highlighted includes a link to a live demonstration/deployed application and the GitHub repo.
