I’m Michele Chiavarini, a multi-instrumentalist and composer with over 30 years of experience across Pop, Dance, Soul/RnB, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Orchestral and World styles. I work as a composer, songwriter, producer, remixer, session musician, arranger and sound designer, and I regularly write for film, television and advertising. I’m classically trained in piano, guitar, composition, orchestration and conducting, and I’m comfortable in electronic, acoustic and orchestral environments. I’ve collaborated with Ray Charles, Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Luciano Pavarotti, Philip Bailey, Seal, Simply Red, Moby, Soul II Soul, Gabrielle, A. R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire), Lemar and many more. Since 2021 I’ve been a voting member of the Grammys Recording Academy. I regularly score soundtracks for CNN, The Discovery Channel, History Channel and I have created music for numerous advertising campaigns, including Quaker (“Deliciously Ugly”) and other brands. I also produce, arrange and perform across many collaborations, including the dance acts and projects like Daphne & Celeste, The Sunburst Band, Nova Fronteira and more.
