BA Film at Edinburgh Napier University

September 1, 2014 - June 28, 2018

Grade: 2:1 During my BA(Hons) Film studies at Edinburgh Napier University, I was employed by the university and individual members of staff numerous times to create and edit branded promotional content for online distribution, as well as some documentaries helmed by my tutors. Over the four years of my main studies I wrote, directed, edited, and produced around 21 short films in a variety of genres. Each of these projects required intense collaboration and critical creative thinking under time constraints, and have prepared me for life in the professional world.

MA Post Production at MetFilm School

October 7, 2019 - December 20, 2020

Grade: Distinction Activities and societies: Diversity and Inclusion Committee This year long course at Masters level combined high level technical training with a focus on understanding how to make stories work. I learned the intricate ins and outs of software including Avid Media Composer, the Adobe Suite and DaVinci Resolve. I also analysed the theory of colour grading, sound design, VFX and editing, in order to improve my work and create media of the highest possible standard.
