Markus Wernig

I am Markus Wernig, an IT professional with over 20 years of experience in enterprise IT projects. I have got a very broad background and experience in IT, which ranges from software engineering to network security and system engineering/administration.

For over 15 years now I have worked primarily in software engineering, from full-stack to appliance, from network automation over PKI and cryptography to database-heavy workflow applications. Before that, I was mainly active in network security.
I have worked alone and in agile team settings. As lead engineer I am comfortable comunicating on executive levels as well as with technical staff and end-users.

I am not, however, a typical 100%-only-developer. Based on my extensive experience in various fields I would describe myself rather as an allrounder with a strong suit in software engineering and security .
