Nathan Meckel

Hi, I’m Nathan and I’ve made Music City home long before Nashville Hot Chicken became finger-lickin’. I’m a seasoned music producer, songwriter and composer with over 20 years of professional experience. My music has appeared in feature films, TV shows, ads, major and indie record label releases, audiobook, stage productions and an Emmy winning animated educational series. Although I’m still chasing that Billboard #1, I’ve been fortunate to have co-written and produced a 7 week iTunes #1, SiriusXM #1 and an iHeart radio #1 (online).

Whether I’m crafting a lyric and melody or conceptualizing an instrumental piece for a scene, my goal is always tell a story that connects with the audience.
A strong communicator, I manage to juggle big picture concepts and microscopic details all at once while staying (somewhat) sane:)
I am skilled at creating entire works on my own and equally comfortable hiring and leading large teams in recording sessions. I maintain a strong network of relationships with A list session musicians, singers and mix engineers for larger projects that need to work at scale.

FUN FACTS:
In addition to winning Two GOLD Telly awards for directing a music video about Tequila that debuted on CMT, I’m also a published Children’s author distributed by Simon and Schuster. If these two fun facts don’t summarize my diverse and eclectic resume, I don’t know what does!
