    paper 🎬 Game Scoring Project – About Cannons & Sparrows Original Score by Naveen K Lakshman

    I just finished scoring a short gameplay sequence from About Cannons & Sparrows for a composition challenge.
    My goal was to shape the music around the character’s journey and match each scene with the right emotion and energy.

    The opening stays light and curious with strings, plucks, bells, flute touches, and soft vocal layers.
    The first enemy lifts the pace with robotic textures, 808 support, impacts, sweeps, and tight drums.
    Inside the dark tree, the change in tempo and meter creates a more tense and unstable feel with Celesta, pizzicato strings, violin fills, reverb guitar, taikos, toms, and trailer brass.
    The final moment builds with rising strings, flute fills, impacts, and a focused vocal line to close the scene with movement and intent.

    I’m working to grow in game audio and scoring, and projects like this help me learn and push my style forward.
