    Concept art for a story I'm creating. This is based on the past for the character being held by his mother. He was adopted into a cult and taken away from his family to be raised in it. It's a story about revenge and learning to cope with the psychological trauma it ensues. In this I wanted to showcase his reluctance at a young age, but the gentle forcefulness from the people around him to join the cult. The mom is seen guiding his hand to the goats head and the patience of the cult member.     Concept art for a story I'm creating called "The Heroic Tale of Captain JR". In this art I wanted to show through their facial expressions the nature of what their relationship is like along with their body language. The mermaid is obviously fearful and trying to sit up after seeing Jr above her with a spear. Jr is surprised and even curious. I wanted him to block the ray of light to symbolize the feeling of being trapped. His hand is seen steadying himself on a rock, but I also wanted that to symbolize blocking off her exit.     During Inktober I have Monster OC's that I like to draw. I like to make up little adventures for every other day for each monster. This is one of them. I wanted to update their design. They're a more reserved character, but not quite shy. I wanted their hair to cover their eyes and a more droopy look to their clothes to give off a more introverted vibe.     Concept art for the story I'm creating called "The Heroic Tale of Captain JR". I wanted to find the dynamic for the two characters through this. In the story it's a one sided friendship that Jr chooses to believe is good. He sets out to find Captain Scythe, one of the top mermaid hunters on his island who mysteriously quit after years of winning, for answers to the morality of the sport.
