I’m Nick Toye, a Lead Product & Visual Designer with 13+ years of experience delivering high-impact digital products across agencies, startups, and freelance environments. I specialise in UI, UX, visual design, prototyping, motion, and accessibility.

I lead design efforts for complex web and mobile products, collaborating closely with founders, engineers, and stakeholders, and helping teams through delivery and handover. I value accessible, user-centred design and have a track record of aligning brand direction with functional design across growing product portfolios.

Additionally, I am an illustrator and animator seeking exciting opportunities to create crafted artwork for music film and television. I am a music obsessive, and would love the opportunity to work with bands and labels.

A chilling battle unfolds within the eerie confines of a graveyard, revealing a deadly clash between a relentless demon and a mysterious stranger. This atmospheric tale delves into the realms of dark magic, forbidden rituals, and the haunting power of a disembodied beating heart encased in a jar.

Created as part of the La Horla Collective event that took place on the 23/02/2024 this animatic was a collaboration between myself and musical artist Alex Sinesi otherwise known as ‘Horla’ (also a founding member of the collective)

I was approached by the band ‘Old Chase’ to create this video for the launch of their album "The Dizzy Heights of Yesterday’ Based on a dream experienced by Lead singer Tom Lattimer. The animation depicts a chaotic skate-punk scenario inside the belly of a grotesque sea creature.

Alongside my product design career, I’ve worked on a range of illustration and animation projects, including social campaigns for Nike, album artwork, posters, merchandise, and animations for bands, as well as comic work for the London Council and the Mayor of London.
