Owned the customer-facing portal (B2C + B2B) for Maryland’s tolling authority (MDTA): account management, toll payments, transactions, and vehicle/transponder management. Architected a fail-fast fraud-prevention pipeline (IP → email → phone) integrating TransUnion risk APIs and 24/7 2-hour velocity checks, reducing fraudulent accounts by ~2,900. Shipped Google Pay and Apple Pay web-based flows across desktop/tablet/mobile browsers via the Card Connect gateway (QR fallback for non-Apple devices), adopted by 11,000+ users. Led staging performance remediation (HTTP/2, compression, minification), then directed a phase-2 RxJS → Angular Signals migration to reduce change-detection overhead and improve page-load speed by 13.5%. Introduced AI-assisted code review via CodeRabbit to reduce PR review time for large PRs across multiple engineers. Guided release architecture decisions with MDTA stakeholders, blocking unstable requirements before release.

Delivered an online diagnostic ordering and results portal for veterinary clinicians: test ordering, sample submission management, live lab status tracking, and patient results history. Reduced production JavaScript bundle size by 16.7% across the UK & Ireland’s largest veterinary lab network through bundle analysis and code-splitting. Migrated ASP.NET Core service/runtime from .NET Core 2.1 (EOL) to .NET 6 (LTS) across 30+ files without breaking API contracts. Prototyped and pitched a React Native mobile app end-to-end proof of concept to obtain stakeholder buy-in. Built an interaction-heavy clinical UI (animated result timelines and real-time lab status updates) on Angular Universal with SSR and hydration.

Worked on cloud workforce management and HR platform used by 5,000+ senior-care and post-acute healthcare facilities: scheduling, time & attendance, payroll, analytics, and compliance. Diagnosed and fixed a critical memory leak in the scheduling grid affecting 800+ facilities, preventing browser crashes on high-volume shifts. Resolved infinite-scroll performance failures freezing the browser past ~15 pages by building a custom virtual scroll; later migrated to Angular CDK’s virtual scroll viewport. Led a team for ~1 year, mentoring and onboarding 8 engineers through structured code review practices.
