    Quartier bloqué

A documentary comic set on a lively street in Dora, a suburb of Beirut. Through the lives of three protagonists—the neighborhood grocer, the barber, and a resident—the comic reveals their personal stories while exploring the everyday dynamics of social behavior, prejudice, and racism that shape the community.

The comic is entirely hand-drawn and colored with colored pencils, giving the narrative a textured and intimate visual quality.

    A Distance

A graphic novel about a long-distance relationship between two women, exploring intimacy, desire, and connection across physical distance.

The book is 72 pagesm drawn digitally using a two-colour palette of grey and orange. The contrast between the muted grey tones and vibrant orange creates the visual rhythm of the book, while helping distinguish different moods and moments throughout the story.

Published by Les Éditions Labrys in 2025.

    Real Deal

Commissioned personal comic book telling the story of a couple, from how they met to the development of their relationship.

The book was created digitally in black and white. I developed the artwork and visual storytelling throughout the project, while the cover was designed based on the client’s direction and preferences.

    Feminist future

A digital comic strip imagining a future in which repressive regimes have erased feminist movements and their struggles from collective memory and archives.

Through a data breach, a group of feminists manages to broadcast images and videos from previous eras. In this future, women have been deprived of their ability to see and hear, but for a brief fraction of a second, they are able to perceive these fragments of erased history.

The comic explores memory, resistance, and the transmission of feminist history across generations, even when that history has been deliberately destroyed.

The comic was drawn digitally in black and white. The stark visual language emphasizes the extremity of the repressive society and creates a sense of bleakness and absence of hope, contrasted with the brief moment in which the women reconnect with the images and sounds of the past.
