The children squeal in pure delight
When Boza first comes into sight
His smiling mask fills them with joy
It’s like he is a great big toy
His nose is like a big red ball
His mouth is wide, his eyes are small
His hair is red; his smile is wide
But even this still cannot hide
The sadness that his eyes portray
The pain and sorrow of that day

The sadness in his sparkling eyes
A memory that never dies
His little girl’s a memory
A picture he will always see

He loves the smiles the kids display
The joy and love that they convey
They clap their hands and laugh out loud
It makes him feel part of the crowd
His stories keep them all spell-bound
They gaze at him without a sound
The wonder that is in their eyes
Does not perceive his laughs are lies
The sadness that his eyes portray
The pain and sorrow of that day

As I look back along the way

The gentle warmth of autumn days, the pungent scent of hay
And golden dawns that gave us hope to venture out each day
The full moon rising like a ball, those picnics in the spring
The joy and love when I returned, the day we bought the ring
Our loved one made us special on the day that we were wed
The words we said, the vows we made, the tears that we both shed
