A Decade of Design Excellence: Armstreet
I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Armstreet for more than 10 years, acting as a key creative partner in their brand’s evolution. My work involves a comprehensive range of design solutions, including sophisticated email newsletters, dynamic web banners, and high-impact festival prints.
Over the course of this 10-year partnership, my goal has always been to bridge the gap between art and commerce. By creating designs that resonate with the target audience, I help boost the brand’s visibility and market presence, ultimately contributing to a steady increase in global sales and customer loyalty.
Project Overview:
For THE ARC, a political analysis magazine, I created a series of four impactful conceptual illustrations to accompany a featured in-depth article on global geopolitics.
Key Contributions:
Visual Metaphor Conception: My primary focus was translating complex, abstract, and often dry geopolitical processes into unexpected, striking visual analogies. I aimed to find fresh, original perspectives that would instantly engage readers.
Complex Data, Creative Delivery: I analyzed the article’s core arguments regarding international relations, resource dependencies, and political dynamics, boiling them down to their emotional and logical essence. For example, using an explosive-laden rodent as a metaphor for volatile political proxies or a fuel pump intertwined with a blood-like drip to illustrate energy-based power dynamics.
Hand-Drawn & Analog Aesthetic: The illustrations were rendered in a distinctive watercolor and ink style, adding a textural, artisan feel that provides a strong contrast to typical digital graphics, adding depth and character to the magazine’s layout.
Editorial Consistency: While each illustration addresses a different geopolitical theme, I maintained a unified visual language and tonal consistency to create a cohesive series that feels integral to the overall editorial flow.
The Impact:
The resulting illustrations do not just decorate the page; they act as intellectual entry points, sparking curiosity and providing readers with a powerful visual summary before they even begin to read. The series elevated the magazine’s visual identity, reinforcing its reputation for high-quality, thought-provoking analysis.
Project Overview:
I developed a comprehensive branding and web design solution for the educational project the European Fundamental Values in Digital Era (EFVDE), an educational initiative focused on navigating modern ethics and digital citizenship.
Key Contributions:
Logo & Brand Development: Created a modern, minimalist logo that symbolizes the intersection of traditional values and the digital landscape. The use of structured typography combined with dynamic graphic accents (the yellow bridge elements) reflects connectivity and progress.
Visual Strategy: Established a professional color palette—pairing a trust-inspiring blue with an energetic, “digital” yellow—to ensure the brand feels both authoritative and accessible.
Web Design: Designed an intuitive, user-centric website interface tailored for an educational audience. Focused on clear information architecture to ensure complex topics are easy to navigate for students, educators, and stakeholders.
Consistency & Scalability: Developed a cohesive visual system across all digital touchpoints, ensuring the brand remains recognizable and impactful in various formats.
The Impact:
The resulting brand identity successfully positions the project as a forward-thinking educational leader. The clean, modern aesthetic enhances credibility and provides a professional platform for promoting fundamental European values in the modern age.
For this project, I developed a comprehensive digital advertising suite for Lost World, focusing on high-engagement social media banners. By integrating authentic user-generated content—photos from actual client trips—with clean typography and structured infographics, I created a visual language that balances inspiration with information.
The design system focuses on intuitive navigation, allowing potential travelers to grasp tour details at a glance. This strategic approach led to:
Increased Conversion Rates: A measurable uptick in tour bookings.
Brand Loyalty: Consistent typography that helps returning clients instantly recognize new offers.
Market Expansion: Lowering the barrier for new customers through clear, accessible information layouts.
The Project:
The client envisioned a unique clutch bag design inspired by a classic book. We chose “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” as the centerpiece.
The Execution:
My goal was to create an authentic “book-cover” aesthetic that felt both sophisticated and intellectually engaging. I focused on staying true to the novel’s atmosphere to ensure the design resonated with true fans of the series.
The Result:
The client was thrilled with the outcome. The final product is more than just an attractive accessory; it is a meaningful piece for customers who value depth and storytelling in their fashion choices.
