Bones To Ashes is a powerful, genre-defying collection of tracks that blends the aggressive, complex rhythms of djent with elements of progressive metal, all delivered with the intensity and precision that Master The Crown is known for. As a co-writer and arranger on this EP, I collaborated closely with the band to push the boundaries of the genre, crafting songs that showcase technical musicianship while maintaining emotional depth. The EP features intricate guitar riffs, tight rhythms, and dynamic shifts, with arrangements that incorporate both dissonant and melodic elements, creating a distinctive sonic landscape.

Key Contributions:

I helped shape the overall concept of the EP, ensuring cohesion across all tracks while highlighting the band’s aggressive yet melodic sound.
Arrangements: Played a key role in the arrangement of each track, balancing technicality with groove to create songs that were both intricate and headbang-worthy. The arrangements feature signature djent polyrhythms, palm-muted riffs, and unconventional time signatures, blended seamlessly with melodic breakdowns and atmospheric interludes.
Instrumental & Vocal Dynamics: Worked to shape the vocal and instrumental dynamics across the EP, ensuring that the interplay between heavy, syncopated guitar riffs and soaring, melodic vocals was tight and impactful. I helped fine-tune transitions and build-ups to enhance the intensity and emotion in each track, especially during key moments like breakdowns and bridges.
Production Input: Contributed to the overall production vision, particularly in terms of arranging additional layers of guitar and bass to create a massive sound. I also worked closely with the producer on the mixing process, ensuring that the sonic intricacies of the band’s technical style were captured with clarity while maintaining a raw, live feel.
