Hi! My name is Johan Ragnarsson and I´m applying for the job as a Sound Designer at Fruit Salad.
I´ve been working with music and soundproduction professionally in different forms since 2007.
I have a degree in musicproduction and sound engineering from Studio blue (2004) here in Stockholm and been making and releasing music throughout the years.
Since 2007 my profession has mainly been within Swedish commercial radio and since 2011 I´ve been the head sound-producer of the radiostaion NRJ in Sweden. I love my job but this really sounded like a fun and challenging opportunity.
I also have my own company for soundproduction ( for radio-commercials, short films and such).
Since I was a kid I´ve been playing videogames and I actually think a lot of my early music interest came from the great Nintendo and Atarigames with that classic 5 chanel sound that made the melodi so much more important.
I see myself as an easy going, fun, social and eager to learn new things and meeting new people kind of guy. I really like to cooperate with others and believe that working togheter is the best way to make the end product as good as possible. BUT I also really like just locking myself in the studio and not seeing the sun for days if the inspiration-train hits you. I´m a fast learner and when there is something new I get passionate about I make sure I master it.
Working for different mediahouses I´m use to work and make decisions in a fast pace.
The way we learned to record sounds as natural as possible and with full dynamic range at Studio blue is something I would like to convert to the gaming world.
I really think me and this job is a fantastic match.
I will link some songs in my CV I´ve written and produced over the years but don’t hesitate to be in touch if you want more samples.
Hope to hear from you but until then, have a fantastic day.
/Johan
