I write original scores, orchestrations, and produce music for theatre, film, and concert settings, collaborating across ensembles and producers to bring vivid musical ideas to life. Part of the Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive (LAFCI), this piece was composed to simulate the real life experience of a professional Hollywood style recording session. I was in charge of composing, orchestrating, preparing parts, and conducting a professional orchestra with only 20 minutes of recording time. This was a valuable experience for me. I chose a dramatic, lush orchestral genre - something that would work in a romantic, period style.
