Round Pegs and Square Holes

This is my band’s second EP, which I recorded and mixed independently during my final year at university. This EP marks a new venture for alvo jade, moving away from indie rock and experimenting with more alternative styles and sounds. I experimented with different recording techniques, such as the Glyn Johns drum microphone setup and using ambient recordings to add layers to the vocals and guitars of the EP.
The EP includes lead single, “The Landing”, and gig favourite “Math”.
