28 Grams aka Do$ Ocho Born September 9th 1988, Oswaldo Contreras, an independent music producer and artist signed to Versatile Measures Music Group, began his musical career in the 7th grade. Influenced by multiple genres in music, he has acquired a distinct sound that shines through his compositions, he states, “ever since I got introduced to music by my dad at the age of 11, I've always had a dream of doing something in the music industry,” and after furthering his understanding of the art of music throughout his life he sought-after becoming a producer and artist with his own unique sound. Professionally trained at SAE Institute of Los Angeles, and also schooled by his own experiences, it has become clear that he is headed in the right direction. “I can't get enough of the music, every time I hear a sound that catches my ear, a composition brews in my head, any time I hear a voice that I like whether it’s a singing or a rapping vocalist I hear an instrumental that I believe would go great with their voice.” Much of his work has included working with artists like Jahziah Anake, Tay Y.U.N.G, Digla Baby, Jaye Vataan, and many other up and coming artists.
