Studied at the Portuguese Institute of Photography, where he learned composition and the value of photographic imagery, and developed his artistic knowledge at the António Arroio School and the Escola Superior de Belas Artes (Higher School of Fine Arts). He began his professional career as a Graphic Designer between 1983 and 1988, and since 1990 in the field of Architecture, where he developed his knowledge of computer technology in image and pagination applications, carrying out work preparing images and documents for different purposes. Simultaneously He has designed and executed Graphic Design for cultural events and illustrations for music CDs. He collaborated with the primary school of "Escola da Voz do Operário da Ajuda" in Lisbon, between 1990 and 2005, where he was responsible for video shooting, editing and video producing of school activities, in particular the institution's annual educational camps, having executed video editing with "Adobe Premiere" software since the year 2000. Between 2007 and 2015, he collaborated with several amateur theater group´s, serving as a "Sound Technician", "Lighting Technician" and "Stage Scenery Technician".
