This portfolio presents two complementary projects that explore the theme of espionage, drawing references from the entire history of intelligence and covert operations, from their origins to the present day. The work traces how military garments, each with their own unique functions, have evolved over time and adapted across various fields of fashion and cinema. Starting from Victorian silhouettes, the projects examine how these structured forms transform and reappear in different contexts, reflecting the shifting roles and aesthetics of espionage throughout history. Together, these projects create a dialogue between past and present, function and fiction, revealing how the codes of secrecy, adaptability, and disguise inherent in espionage continue to shape and inspire contemporary fashion narratives.
Designed and constructed costumes for a contemporary adaptation of a classical Greek tragedy. Integrated sustainable practices by sourcing second-hand materials and repurposing existing pieces. Worked closely with the director to align costume aesthetics with the emotional narrative of the production.
