By 21 I was programming for a Cardiff-based software house, later moving to London to work on large-scale point-of-sale systems, real-time and telecommunications projects, and international consulting. Over the years I led R&D teams, built premium-rate and IVR systems, and steered multi-country projects across Europe, Asia, and beyond. My career has spanned banking, manufacturing, telecom, and government technology, culminating in leadership roles such as CTO, CTIO, and technology director, with a focus on turning complex technology into practical, scalable business solutions.
As CTO/CTIO and technology leader, I have overseen multi-site development teams, large call centres, blockchain initiatives, and integrated platforms for government and financial institutions. I enjoy mentoring developers, shaping system architecture, and helping clients realize strategic outcomes through innovative software, cloud, and IoT solutions.
