Hi, I’m Penny Weber, a children's book illustrator from Long Island, New York. I celebrate family, happiness and joy in my work, and I began drawing as a child, especially eyes, smiles, and hugs. My favorite part is that feeling of a hug on the page—my illustrations are inspired by warmth, curiosity, and the comforting bonds between family and friends. I’m a self-taught artist with formal exposure to visual arts education through several publishers and schools and a love for character-driven storytelling.
