Hello! I’m Paolo Eriani, a trombonist, conductor and composer based in Legnano, Italy. I studied trombone at the Civico Liceo Musicale of Varese and graduated from the Conservatorio di Como in 1991; I also pursued composition during my studies. Over the past 30 years I performed with local wind bands, joined better ensembles, and took part in international contests.
I began composing in 1996 and had my first two pieces published the following year. To date I have written over 80 pieces spanning wind band music, classical chamber music, choir and piano works. A couple of my compositions have earned second place in international composition contests.
