Hi, my name is Piper! I'm graduate of Drexel University in the Film and TV program. Over the last four years I have edited countless projects as an Assistant Editor or Head Editor and I have been a part of six different projects as the Head of the Art Department. I approach editing like an art. I take the pieces my fellow filmmakers have created and I stitch them together into a story that (hopefully) appeals to both the audience and the producers/director. After everything has been placed in the timeline I try to let my instincts dictate the best way to tell the story. I do my absolute best to communicate with my directors to achieve their vision for their films. When I can't accurately recreate their vision or if plans go awry I do everything in my power to create a solution that is just as good as the original intention. I enjoy creating spec trailers for my favorite tv shows and movies in my free time. So far I've made ones for Howl's Moving Castle, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, and Wolf Children.
