Hi, I’m Phoebe Bruce, a wildlife and marine videographer blending hands-on conservation field work with cinematography and editing. I’m passionate about telling authentic stories that raise awareness for wildlife, ocean health, and environmental change.
I’ve worked on conservation projects in Thailand and on professional film sets such as Sky Studios, developing a confident approach to framing, camera movement, and visual storytelling. I aim to merge film and conservation to create impactful documentaries that educate and inspire action.

This project explored the themes of beauty, decay, and renewal by examining the intricate relationship between humans and nature across urban and rural environments. Through a combination of carefully planned shoots, immersive visuals, layered sound design, and poetic storytelling, the film captures moments of resilience and coexistence. From intimate wildlife behaviour in the New Forest to dynamic aerial shots in Hertford Heath, the project reflects a thoughtful balance between creative vision and environmental awareness. Throughout the process, I refined my technical skills in cinematography, editing, colour grading, and sound, while embracing sustainable practices and adapting to challenges like weather and location constraints.
