I hold a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the Centro de Arte Mexicano (2018–2023). I was part of the international TMFA Community, where I participated in multiple artistic projects. In 2020, I joined the Colectivo Viral and took part in two virtual exhibitions: Viral (2020) and Viral 2.0 (2020). My work has been exhibited in Mexico City (Recontextosignificación, 2022; Explícito, 2017) and in Portland (TMFA Pop-Up Show, 2021). I’ve sold artwork in Mexico, the United States, Canada, and France. In addition to my gallery and collective experience, I work professionally as a digital artist and designer on Upwork, where I’ve collaborated with international clients on a wide range of creative projects. Artist Statement My work explores the technical and conceptual possibilities of appropriation as a creative tool to challenge and reframe the collective perspective on originality and copying in art. I put this into practice by intervening with framed paintings, vintage photographs, and found objects from Mexico City’s flea markets using mixed media techniques. These interventions incorporate symbolism from both the Mexican collective imagination and my own personal nostalgia.
