** US or Canada Video Editor For Editing Video Promos

We are looking for a talented video editor to join us for projects long-term.

We create a lot of promotional videos. (Between 30 seconds and 30 minutes)

Most of our videos end up being white background with some text on the screen being narrated.

Which kinda works… But we want to make it even BETTER!

We have a ton of existing video content that we can mix into these promo videos.

We want someone who can take a boring-ish video and do the following:

• Add music
• Add fast cuts with some of the ‘demo’ clips that we have
• Add subtitles (sometimes)
• Speed up the video itself a little.
• Add Kinetic Typography (Not a ton, but some)

I can definitely communicate the over-arching goal of what we want to achieve for each project.

But I want someone who can take creative ownership and surprise me with the end result, Instead of needing a play by play instructions on exactly what to do.

Overall someone with the “right eye” for making a video FUN and EASY TO WATCH, even with minimal direction.

Huge Bonus if you are a native speaker or based in North America.

• Reliable at consistently meeting production timelines.
• Very open minded to feedback and pivots.
• Excellent English.
• A ton of attention to details. Small things matter.

It’s great if you have many years of experience BUT IT’S NOT A MUST. :-)
