Law&Crime Trial Network is looking to hire a freelance Production Assistant for a trial in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

DATES: April 24th to May 3rd. Daytime Hours. Monday - Friday. No weekends.

Key Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Setting up the courtroom for a live feed with audio.
• Commitment to the length of the trial which could last for 2 weeks.
• Courthouse hours (Monday - Friday) of 8am - 5pm. You are welcome to work on other projects outside of that time.
• Uphold and enforce Law & Crime Network’s national standards and practices, editorial and branding guidelines.
• Train with us on how to properly use the equipment (virtual).

Requirements For Success

• Can work well with local media and courtroom employees in the field.
• A good communicator with our staff via phone.
• Knowledge of TVU or Live U streaming devices.
• Bonus if you can stream on Vimeo or similar platform from a video feed.
• Ability to troubleshoot and act independently and proactively.
• Reliable transportation.

This position is a great opportunity for a freelancer. Our daily rate for each freelancer position is approximately $200 per day. We process payments on a weekly basis.

You must be able to commit to the length of the trial. You could split this work with another person on your team with advance approval.

This assignment does not require post production.
