Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible, highly motivated, resourceful, free-lance Graphic Designer to support the mission and organization of Global Gaming Women. We are looking for an individual who supports creative development of our organizational initiatives, develops an understanding of the GGW brand, and translates content into fantastic and creative end products. The Graphic Designer must have organized and efficient work habits, be able to thrive at a fast-pace, and enjoy a collaborative team atmosphere. In this role, responsibilities will range from developing brand standards and guidelines, creating print and digital marketing material, presentation and graphic asset support, and logo creation.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and maintain creative identity brand standards and guidelines
- Design, maintain, and drive improvements to our printed and digital marketing materials including, but not limited to, print & digital advertisements, brochures, training materials, etc.
- Design, maintain, and drive improvements to our online properties and social media outlets with direction from the marketing committee
- Provide creative support for marketing campaigns, website content, and digital publications
- Develop logo design as needed
- Make recommendations of creative strategies & manage final production and output of projects with vendors
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent combination in education and experience) in Communication
Arts or Graphic Design
Required Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Graphic Design, preferably in gaming and/or corporate marketing
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Highly-proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Basic knowledge of HTML/HTML5
- Understanding of marketing/branding concepts required
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
- Team player with an adaptable and responsive attitude
- Experience in Gaming industry
- Professional command of AutoDesk products – AutoCAD and 3D Studio Software
- 2D/3D design, or specifically, sign design experience for the gaming industry is preferred
- Experience building accurate, and realistic 3D slot machine models for bank renderings and overall marketing purposes is expected
