Naughty Dog, a renowned game development studio with a legacy of crafting critically acclaimed games, is seeking an Associate UI Technical Designer. With over 30 years of experience, Naughty Dog is known for pushing the boundaries of narrative, gameplay, and technology. As part of the team, you will contribute to the development of extraordinary and enduring experiences for a global audience. Naughty Dog’s recent game, The Last of Us Part II, has received numerous Game of the Year awards.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate assets, implement, and test functionality of UI components
• Collaborate with the QA team to develop UI test cases
• Bring a critical eye, a willingness to experiment, and enthusiasm to collaborate with UI Visual Designers and other teams to achieve the highest quality outcomes

Requirements & Skills:

• Strong coding ability, proficient in at least one or multiple scripting languages
• Self-sufficiency, able to manage workload and meet project deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teams

Bonus Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with UI editors (Unity, Unreal, or other)
• Experience developing multiplayer games
• Knowledge of UI/UX design patterns
• Comfortable with Photoshop and Illustrator
