What We Need From You

You must be comfortable working with large groups of children, coaches and parents. There are some physical requirements as you will be required to help set up equipment such as lights and backdrops as well as tents and tables for outside jobs. Photographer assistants will be assisting the photographer in all aspects of their work. From posing the child to making sure the flash goes off. Sales personnel will be in charge of handling all photo day orders and payments. Assisting parents in any questions they may have about the order form and helping them choose what items are best for them. Photo Day Coordinators are in charge of keeping the job on schedule. Checking in each team, bringing them to the photographers, making sure photographers stay on pace, answering any questions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Photographers are required to SHOOT TO SELL
• Our photographers are required to photograph correctly without the need to Edit after the job
• All photos must be shot correctly in the camera
• Capture high quality photographs that are ready to sell
• Organize materials to ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available
• Work closely with staff to establish set-up area, flow, and effectively resolve any issues
• Maintain equipment in a safe manner according to company guidelines
• Accurately complete and return all required materials within assigned timelines
• Follow all company polices and represent Candid Color in a professional manner
• Use safe work habits, including proper lifting and safe driving
• Maintain confidentiality of client information

Job Requirements

• SMILING, high-energy, outgoing candidate who loves people and events
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision with a team
• Willing to work a varied seasonal schedule
• Accessibility to reliable insured transportation

Vehicle insurance must be current and in compliance with state law

Must have valid driver’s license

• Ability to learn to operate camera equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for short periods

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• After school
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Metairie, LA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Preferred)
