Job Description:

The Part-time Pianist/Accompanist will be responsible for playing the piano during St. Mark’s Church’s Sunday morning service, with the ability to utilize organist skills as a bonus. In addition, the incumbent will collaborate with the Music Minister and Senior Pastor to create meaningful worship experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Play the piano during Sunday morning services
• Utilize organist skills as needed
• Collaborate with the Music Minister and Senior Pastor to create meaningful worship experiences
• Participate in weekly rehearsals with the choir on Wednesday evenings (Sept.-May)
• Rehearse with a praise team as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to play the piano proficiently
• Experience as an accompanist
• Ability to utilize organist skills (a bonus)
• Live within a reasonable distance of Decatur, Indiana
