Job Description
Our online retail company is launching our new store, DormHaul.com (June 1st) and we are seeking a soon to be high school graduate (May 2023 graduate) to manage and launch our brand’s TikTok. From late May until you go to college in the fall you have the ultimate summer marketing job creating TikTok content for Dorm Haul.
Responsibilities
- Video Marketing (TikTok Focus / Possible Instagram Reels)
- Social Media management
- Influencers
- Content Creator
Requirements
- Live in or be able to relocate to the Nashville, TN area (Work can be remote within the greater Nashville area, however there will be times you need product from our warehouse or to discuss how the marketing efforts are doing)
- Share a link to you video work even if it is a personal TikTok, IG or YouTube channel please share.
- Overachiever? Create a video showing the direction you’d like to take Dorm Haul’s TikTok and share it with us.
Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate is graduating high school this spring of '23 and going off to college in August. Your journey from high school to college is “Dorm Haul”. Be authentically yourself as you enjoy senior summer and prepare for your next big chapter in life when you go off to college.
College students who have already completed their freshman ‘Dorm Haul’ are also welcome to apply. You may have the perspective high school graduates need as they prepare for college dorm life.
If you have interests related to social media videos, editing/design and marketing then this position is for you!! The future of online retail incorporates videos in all sales channels and marketing. In this role you’d be lead for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Note: Applicants with an ability in graphic design is a bonus! Video marketing with a graphic design / editing ability tend to provide more content value.
