What We Are Looking For

GVEC is looking to hire a Seasonal Multimedia Designer to join our dedicated Marketing and Communications team! As a Seasonal Multimedia Designer, you will help develop and curate graphic design, photos, and videos necessary to support the marketing needs of the GVEC brand and its services. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your artistic skills in graphic design, motion graphics, and multimedia production and gain new skills from our experienced professionals and creative programs, tools and resources.

How You’ll Help

• Assist with photo and video shoots and archiving of marketing collateral
• Create on-brand, visually impactful materials for both online and offline (print) channels and will proofread and write headlines when necessary
• Assist with online and digital marketing, including development or maintenance of creative design, content, editing and optimization
• Print marketing collateral, including development and maintenance of creative design, content, and print production
• Develop or curate graphics and content to support the social media program
• Design and place ads with a variety of vendors
• Assist with creative design execution for Texas Co-op Power magazine and other high-impact, high-visibility corporate publications
• Marcom distribution of marketing activities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently
• Excellent problem-solving skills - able to effectively troubleshoot minor issues independently
• Flexibility to work after hours or on weekends as necessary
• Ability to work during extreme weather conditions as necessary

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
• Proficiency in Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, and Instagram a plus
