Position: Part-Time Entry Level Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Part-Time Entry Level Graphic Designer. This position is ideal for a high school or college student with a passion for graphic design, strong foundational skills, and familiarity with Canva. As a graphic designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing materials that effectively communicate our brand and engage our target audience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually compelling designs for various social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
• Develop creative and eye-catching layouts that align with our brand guidelines and effectively communicate our message.
• Utilize Canva and other graphic design software to create high-quality designs.
• Understand and apply design principles, such as color theory, typography, and composition, to create visually pleasing and impactful designs.
• Ensure all designs are delivered on time and meet the specified requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to the overall creative process.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in using Canva and other graphic design software.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• A portfolio or examples of previous design work will be highly regarded but not mandatory.

Requirements:

• Reside in the State of Georgia, USA. (All other candidates will not be considered, thank you for understanding)
• High school diploma or currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Availability to work on some weekday afternoons.
• Reliable internet connection and access to necessary design tools/software.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $8. This is a part-time position with a maximum of 10 hours per week.
