Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of audio recording, mixing, and mastering sessions for studio recordings, live performances, and other audio projects.
• Operate and maintain audio equipment, including microphones, mixing consoles, outboard gear, and recording software.
• Collaborate closely with artists, producers, and other stakeholders to understand their creative vision and translate it into exceptional audio quality.
• Ensure optimal audio quality and clarity by properly setting up recording sessions, adjusting levels, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
• Apply advanced audio editing, mixing, and mastering techniques to enhance the sound quality of recordings, while maintaining the artist’s artistic intent.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in audio technology, techniques, and software to continuously improve audio production processes.
• Manage and organize audio files and assets, ensuring proper backups and archival procedures are followed.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members, such as producers, musicians, and sound designers, to achieve the desired audio results.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality audio files that meet project deadlines and technical specifications.
• Adhere to industry-standard audio engineering practices and quality control measures to maintain consistency and excellence in audio production.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as an Audio Engineer in the music industry, preferably within a studio or record label environment.
• Proficient knowledge of audio recording techniques, equipment, and signal flow.
• Expertise in operating digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
• Strong understanding of audio editing, mixing, and mastering techniques, with a keen ear for sound quality and balance.
• Familiarity with a wide range of musical genres and the ability to adapt audio production techniques accordingly.
• Knowledge of audio plugins, virtual instruments, and sound libraries to enhance the audio production process.
• Solid understanding of acoustics, sound reinforcement systems, and live sound engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize audio workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate project management and file organization.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work harmoniously within a team environment.
